To celebrate the premiere of the Frozen Northern Lights animated series on Disney Channel, Izzy and Clara were sent a Frozen Northern Lights Elsa Doll by Jakks Pacific.
The animated shorts follow Queen Elsa and her sister Anna on an adventure to bring the Northern Lights back to Arendelle – and now Frozen fans can help Elsa restore the Northern Lights with this interactive doll. Like most children, my girls love listening to stories and always run to the bookshelf to pick out a book for bedtime. So when we were asked to review a new children’s book, I couldn’t say no. We were kindly sent a copy of Jungle Jam, which tells the tale of Mikey the Monkey’s trip through the jungle and all the animal friends he encounters along the way – each playing a different instrument.

For the past few months, Izzy has been receiving the Little Passports Early Explorers subscription to review. Each month she receives a package from America which encourages children to learn about the world. Each one is themed, and the latest to arrive was all about Art.
Little Passports is a monthly subscription package which delivers adventure right to your door. Over the next few months we will be trying out the Early Explorers subscription, for children aged 3-5, which we have kindly been gifted in return for an honest review.

On the days I’m not working, I’m chauffeuring my eldest daughter to after-school dance classes and swimming lessons, so by the time we get home the kids are starving and don’t want to wait ages while I cook tea. I need to get something on the table pretty quick, but at the same time I want to make sure my children are eating healthy and nutritious food. (more…)
