Josie is 8 months old now and loves going in the bath. She has outgrown her baby bath so when we had the opportunity recently to review a Summer Bath Seat we thought we would give it a try. We were kindly gifted the seat in return for an honest review.
I don’t know about you, but I am always in such a rush in the mornings to get everyone ready and out of the house for nursery, school and work. I often don’t have time to make breakfast for myself, especially as the kids eat out of the house, but I also don’t function well without something to eat early on.
Smoothies or yoghurt drinks could be a useful solution as they can be grabbed from the fridge on the way out of the house and consumed on the go or once you get to work.
We were sent some samples of Lifeway Kefir to try out in return for an honest review. Lifeway Kefir is a live and active cultured milk smoothie drink, a bit like a drinkable yoghurt. You can drink it on it’s own, enjoy it over cereal or fruit, or add to fruit smoothies – and it comes in different flavours including original, mango, blueberry and strawberry.
We love playing games as a family; its nice to take some time out from rushing about and just sit down for some quality time together. When we were sent the game “Don’t be a Donkey” to try out recently, the kids couldn’t wait to play it.
There are two ways to play this game – if there are only 2 players the game is essentially snap. For 3-4 players, the game involves passing on a card to the next player until one player has a set of 4 matching cards. In either game, as soon as a match is made the player shouts Donkey and everyone has to grab a carrot as quick as they can – but of course there aren’t enough for everyone so the player who doesn’t get a carrot loses that round.
I love personalised gifts; they are unique and thoughtful. They are especially great when you have kids, as photos of your precious offspring make perfect gifts for all the family. However, there’s only so many mugs you can give – don’t get me wrong, I love photo mugs – but I don’t think the grandparents would like to receive one every single year.
Bags of Love have loads of great photo gift ideas – including mugs – and they very kindly sent us a personalised wall clock featuring a photo of our choice.

Mikey the Monkey, Gina the Giraffe and the rest of the band head to Rio in the latest story in the Jungle Jam series – and you could win your very own copy in our giveaway!
Last year we reviewed the first Jungle Jam book – which you can read all about here – and the girls loved it. So when we were asked if we would like to review the second instalment, of course I said yes.
