We have a big minion fan in this house so Izzy was pretty excited when I suggested we make some minion footprints!
I painted Izzy’s foot half yellow and half blue to make the minions body, and Clara’s teeny tiny foot made a perfect purple minion.
They made two pictures and I then painted on the goggles and mouths using acrylic paint. Instead of the G on the yellow minions dungarees, I painted an ‘I’ for Izzy, and a ‘C’ for Clara.
You could make a whole army of minions!

Oh that’s awesome! I so wanna make some now with my girlies and put googly eyes on them. Xx
Adding googly eyes is a great idea!
So cute! Reminds me that I haven’t gotten my baby girl’s footprints yet >.< I bet your house is all about the Minions movie this year, haha.
It is, I’m sure Izzy thinks she is a minion sometimes! She has a minion hat too!
Love this idea! If only Luke would stay still long enough…! Ray xx @ lukeosaurusandme.blogspot.co.uk #toddlerapprovedtuesday
It sometimes takes a few attempts! We have done plenty of footprints that look like they have 7 toes because of all the wriggling! Thanks for stopping by
These are ace. We haven’t watched the film but my little girl sees Minions everywhere we go so I know she would love this…plus it involves getting messy always a bonus! #ToddlerApprovedTuesday
The despicable me film is pretty good – though not so much the hundredth time of watching!
Bloody love this! Lamb loves minions too, this is going on my arts & crafts to do list! x #toddlerapprovedtuesday
Pleased you have got some arty inspiration! Minions seem to be huge at the minute
oh these are so cute, we will be doing these for sure! I love them, such a simple but effective activity.
thanks so much for linking up to #toddlerapproved tuesday x
On a fabric chair, too! I think my kids are a little too young still. I can get the foot stamped in paint, but painting just isn’t happening yet. I’m always so impressed with people who come up with such cute ideas though!
Thank you. To be honest the fabric is a mess already with spaghetti stains, paint would be an improvement!
Sorry for my late commenting and sharing (from last weeks #ToddlerApprovedTuesday) the week just seemed to fly away with me! The kids loved the idea of this when we had a look through all of the link ups. In fact Jenson has chosen this as his ‘Lets Do This Activity Mummy’. x
Aw its great that he wants to do these!
These are really cute – what a creative idea! Thanks for sharing on #ToddlerFunFriday
Thanks for another great blog linky!
